Objectives

To grow produce and the planting and maintaining of a community orchard. We are also open to ideas with regards to the planting and growing of flowers and plants, to add beauty, attract and encourage wildlife to the garden

Promote the benefits to health both physically and mentally that can be gained from both the growing and planting of vegetables and fruit; to learn about and be involved in seasonality and sustainability.

Create a meaningful, structured and nurturing use of time and energy and a source of connection to and cohesion with other’s within our local community.

It is important to us that the community is involved in the development of the garden and a sense of ownership is felt amongst stakeholders.

We will put together a Steering Commiteemade up of local representatives to plan and drive our project forward
